Brazil’s Rosset impresses through creativity

Offering new fabrics, new prints, new structures and new effects, Rosset has brought an extremely rich, varied and well-developed collection to Interfilière. The Ideal way to impress clients, who flocked to the stand from day one. “We got off to a very strong start on Saturday and Sunday was excellent,” enthuses Nicole Ivanov, Manager for International markets, USA and Canada. Interested clients were given an opportunity to check out the full range of new products, whether circular knits, Raschel knits, jacquards, lace and prints. Despite expansive lines for the intimates and fashion markets, it was clearly Rosset’s beachwear and fitness lines that attracted the most interest: structured knits, created on Ketten machines, such as the Suzuka knit with alternating matt and shiny effects, and snake-skin or foliage prints for fitness articles. Innovative knits, such as those featuring the AmniSoul Eco biodegradable yarn or the Emana bio-ceramic yarn (boasting so-called ‘infrared’ technology), were also popular. The range won over several high-profile brands, including Oysho, Speedo, Lise Charmel, Koral and Alo Yoga.

Established in 1939, Rosset is one of the largest textile groups in Brazil. The vertically integrated family firm boasts 14 manufacturing plants and two production sites for fabrics. It also runs its own print unit, Salete, offering traditional and digital print capacities. The Valisere and Cia Maritima brands are part of the group.
