REPUBLIC began in 2013 when four friends/natives to CO were inspired to create unique, fashionable and quality Colorado clothing based on their disappointment in the offerings that were being sold in stores at the time. Their mindset? Create a brand that locals and visitors to this state would be proud to wear. Not just another clothing brand, but a mountain lifestyle brand. For those who love Colorado. And REPUBLIC was born.
Motivated by the mountains and an outdoor lifestyle people enjoy, the company got to work on some initial hat concepts, resourced top grade materials and threads, and prototypes were created soon after. What began as a wholesale company catering to a few ski town boutiques, has grown into a successful business with 85 boutiques stores around the state including Jax and Christy Sports. They have launched an e-commerce presence as well that's picking up steam. Their tagline speaks for itself. "Join the revolution." "Run of the mill Colorado clothing just won't cut it anymore. We love this state too much to let that happen." says Brandon Kelley, one of the co-owners of REPUBLIC. "We're taking it up a notch."
They are excited to be a part of the SIA Outdoor Retailer Show in 2018 for the first time, and feel that the exposure will launch them into a new level of possibilities, both in CO and in the surrounding states as they branch out. Say hello to them at the show and join the revolution!
