Luvmother designs soft, high quality, durable children’s Merino Wool clothing. Sustainability and durability are at the heart of Luvmother’s mission. The company uses fair trade labor, offsets its carbon footprint from shipments from its factory, and delivers its products in biodegradable packaging.
Luvmother designs clothing to work as cross-over pieces for anytime and anywhere: for instance, leggings that can serve as long underwear for ski trips, play time, hike time, and school.
“We’re trying to answer the perennial question: How do I bring least amount of gear that will cover me in all situations?” said founders Kevin Peacock and Giselle Murphy in a recent article for Outside Magazine, “We want to encourage people to get out there and have fun, get dirty, and not think about their clothes.”
Built on the premise that it is hard to find well-made, long lasting, fine children’s early-stage clothing in North America and the knowledge that Merino is a perfect fiber for comfort, warmth, and durability, founders Kevin Peacock and Giselle Murphy set out to provide others with clothing they knew would work for young families like themselves.
In 2018, Luvmother unveils another hip line of shirts, hoodies, leggings, tees, tanks, hats, wraps and even baby and toddler sizes. This season will feature nature-inspired prints in light colorways. The design is a twist on the traditional polka dot and takes inspiration from looking up and seeing snow falling from the sky.
Luvmother has added a new fabric for its leggings, as well as a new mid weight legging that is ideal for durability and stand-alone use. The versatile mid weight leggings feature a unisex colorway.
