r. LUSK Studios is a to-the-trade studio providing innovative architectural finishes and decorative art solutions to the design community. At the center of the company's creativity is a line of gilded textile art panels capturing iconic contemporary and cultural designs with rich pigments in gold and silver leaf.
While many of the patterns in the textiles are inspired by centuries-old designs originating from travels to Europe, Greece, the Middle East and North Africa, others are from the artist’s own imagination. The results are intricate and exciting designs that give these lovely hand-gilded panels the appearance of a textile found on an exotic journey. Each panel is hand-made, not screen or block printed so each is truly an original.
In 2016 r. LUSK introduced its gilded textile pillows. Using the same meticulous process, the pillows are finished with fine linen with an abundance of details including mini-flanges, microcording and pleated corners.
