Overview
Handcrafted organic accessories for men, women, baby, + home. Our craftsmanship and unique dye process results in extraordinary colors and distinctive surface patterns, setting our work apart from other textiles on the market.
How it’s created
Every accessory in Owl + Mouse Textile Design’s line is designed, dyed, printed, and sewn in the USA. Organic cottons and linens are dyed in small batches with custom mixed colors. Techniques include immersion, ice, and shibori dyeing to create a variety of extraordinary surfaces. Printed designs are created by our founders and transferred to silk screens to be printed with dye. Once the fabric has been created, every accessory is individually cut and sewn. The time and care that goes into making each piece by hand means that variations will occur, making each piece a little unique!
Meet the founders + makers
Alice Youngblood and Crisitin Llewellyn are the talents behind this handmade, accessory-brand. They met as sophomores in art school and soon after graduating teamed up to put their degrees to work! Together they design and create each product by hand, resulting in functional and affordable pieces of art.
