Archer and Arrow inducted into collection for 2018 after fans voted in Holiday 2017 campaign.
STEWART/STAND® released three limited edition men's styles in Q4 directly to consumers. These tried and tested designs will make their debut to retailers at the NYNOW trade show in New York, February 4-7.
Archer is a soft texture inspired by the cut of a fish tail joint popular on the fletching of an arrow. The fletching is used as guidance for sportsmen, providing stability and accuracy in flight... a positive message for the beginning of the new year. The use of bird feathers to decorate an Archer's equipment was not limited to, but is most fondly identified with, the guiding end of the arrow. We balanced the soft and hard lines +and extended the pattern to the edges implying a quiver full of well wishes.
The Arrow texture incorporates a playful repeating pattern that tracks across the stainless steel plane. The arrow is inspired by stellar activity, as galactic bodies traverse the night skies they perform a spectacular light show in the form of meteor showers entering the earth's atmosphere. The tiny repeating pattern resonates with popular men's fashion trends and the graphic nature of the pattern is appealing to the eye. This is our first attempt at designing a custom pattern that has a direct connection to classic menswear prints, as a design theory we have leaned on replicating woven fabric patterns and patterns inpired by architecture.
We have expanded the offering of this texture to two different items, the very popular Bill Fold Men's Wallet as well as the Tri-Fold Wallet.
