The “Bottlelight Company – Dr. Kitzenmaier” was founded in 2010 by Dr.-Ing. Peter Kitzenmaier as a side business in collaboration with his wife. The main spirit was and is to develop and produce high quality sustainable products which shall make our lifes a bit better and be positive for our environment.
The first idea and product was a Bottlelight lamp which fits into all empty standard wine and Champagne bottles, is LED operated and driven by standard batteries; it works for 100-110 hours per battery set, gives warm or cold white light and has a life time of 100,000 hours.
The second product was the viviLED Bottlelight lamp with the same size as the first Bottlelight but it allows an adjustable light intensity and light color, only by rotating the lamp around its axis, a piece of high tech.
The third Bottlelight lamp allows an adjustable light intensity with lower cost compared to the viviLED Bottlelight.
A new product line goes into the direction of Solar lamps as well.
The main Bottlelight Company – Dr. Kitzenmaier is seated in Potsdam/Germany. A subsidiary is founded in California, Encinitas, near L.A. where a next sales point and production plant is planned.
