Continental Western Corporation to Acquire Regional Safety Distributor
SAN LEANDRO, California, June 08, 2018 -- Continental Western Corporation announced today it has completed the acquisition of industrial safety and detectables distributor Wholesale Safety. Wholesale Safety will operate as a division of Continental Western Corporation and will retain the Wholesale Safety name and brand. It will continue to be run by the same experienced management team that is in place today. Wholesale Safety will be relocated from Muskego, WI to the Continental Western Corp. branch in Addison, IL.

Pete Thompson and co-owner, Laura Powers, have worked in and operated the business for many years. The company focuses on safety products, with a particularly strong market position in detectables. As such, this acquisition gives Continental Western Corporation an expanded presence in the safety market, while providing Wholesale Safety with additional tools to better service its customer base.
