MARIE’S LAUNCHES MARKET RESERVE REFRIGERATED SALAD DRESSINGS

America’s favorite brand combines exciting new flavors and premium ingredients in under 60 calories

Proving yet again that it understands and delivers on the expectations of today’s consumers, Marie’s Refrigerated Salad Dressings will debut its new Market Reserve line of carefully crafted flavor combinations, all weighing in at under 60 calories per serving, at the Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit in Orlando, Florida on October 18, 2018.

“Already, Marie’s has strong household penetration in the refrigerated dressing category, said Ivonne Camacho, brand manager, Ventura Foods. “With our new Market Reserve portfolio, Marie’s is helping retailers further capitalize on the trend toward more sophisticated flavor combinations that feature simple, premium, plant-based ingredients.”

Marie’s Market Reserve flavors include:

  • Wildflower Honey and Lime Vinaigrette
  • Meyer Lemon Basil
  • Smoked Black Pepper Caesar
  • Southwest Style Ranch
  • Caramelized Onion and Sesame Seed

The Market Reserve line is packaged and priced to deliver against a key consumer insight: consumers love variety when it comes to their salad dressing, but they hate wasting money.  At 7.75 ounces, the Market Reserve line delivers big flavor in a smaller bottle driving multiple purchases and bringing more dollars into the category. Market Reserve uses non-GMO oils, no artificial colors or ingredients, is gluten-free. Two varieties, Meyer Lemon Basil and Caramelized Onion and Sesame Seed Dressing are vegan and dairy free. Each 7.75 ounce bottle is expected to retail at around $2.79, although prices may vary by retailer. Like other Marie’s dressings, Market Reserve will be stocked in the refrigerated produce section of retailers nationwide.

A full promotional and advertising campaign will support the March 2019 launch, especially in May, which is National Salad Month.
