Violet Flamingos makes it’s first debut at the National Stationery Show
New York, NY (May 20, 2018) — Violet Flamingos appears for the first time at a national trade show to launch their line of paper goods and accessories that are eco-friendly and made in the USA. The company is located in Newport Beach, CA and offers a fresh new take on stationery with it’s vibrant colors, hand drawn illustrations and pop culture references. The bottle labels offer a new DIY gift giving item and the accessories are made with their custom prints.
Monique Moran is the owner and designer for Violet Flamingos. For the past twelve years she has worked as a textile, graphic and apparel designer for a wide range of surf and swimwear brands. She wanted to utilize that experience and influence to build her own line of fun, vibrant stationery and gift items. There is something special about the handwritten note that can't be replaced by modern technology and she wants to help preserve this special tradition. The main focus of the brand is to create small works of art that can brighten up your day. The collections are inspired by nature, art deco, fashion and pop culture.
The 2018 line will feature over 80 designs. It is designed by collection, Disco Beach, Sublime and Good Vibes. See below for highlights:
Metallic foil cards: There is variety of foil including holographic foil, pink metallic, bronze
Paper qualities: The line offers bright white smooth, metallic and bright white felt paper
Notepads: Large, 5” x 7” 50 sheet notepads, featured is the “New Baby” Schedule notepad which allows for documenting and planning feeding, sleep and diapers, etc.
Bottle labels: This easy DIY item is an adhesive sticker label that can be applied to a bottle of wine, vase of flowers or any item you want to create as a present
Accessories: Made with recycled polyester canvas fabric that has custom digital prints
