May 20, 2018, New York, NY – StoryChips announced the release of a range of new products to take place from May 20th – 23rd at the National Stationery Show at the Javits Center in New York City. Established in New York City in 2012, the startup aspires to offer people and brands memorable and secure ways to share personal stories using digital content tied to a physical product.

As the founder explains, “what if I want to share something intimate with my girlfriend? What are my options? Social networks are noisy and aren’t private. Email might work, but isn’t very personal. Snapchat is fun, but what can you really communicate in 10 seconds or less? There just aren’t any truly personal ways to share digital content with loved ones that are also private and secure.”

StoryChips is here to fill that void. Each one of its products is designed to serve as an interactive bridge between the physical and digital worlds. For example, its inaugural line of products – video cards and stickers – enable people to share private video messages inside physical QR code stickers.

The company has expanded on its initial offering by adding a slew of content options to supplement video, including photos, text, audio, and documents. StoryChips plans to roll out a variety of new content options later this year, ranging from downloadable business cards to surveys and an RSVP collection tool.
