Amador Collective is a group of young artists, working together for creativity. Specializing in letterpress and hand-detailed greeting cards, baby clothes, painted gifts such as vases and prayer candles. It targets fun, celebratory people who are young and creative at heart. The vision for Amador Collective is several different artists designing cards and selling handmade goods under the umbrella of the brand.
Daniela Garcia Allie is the owner with the vision, which will also includes Artist Highlights- short interviews that gets down to what makes them who they are and what inspires them. Those will be featured weekly on the @amadorcollective Instagram. Allie is the main designer for now, but has commissioned two artist friends to make designs for the show.
Amador Collective is launching with over 35, fresh designs, foil, letterpressed, hand-stamped, interactive, and some, of course, for glitter lovers. Amador Collective has a cause-related angle too. Allie is a recent cancer suvivor. At 29, she underwent chemotherapy for Hodgkins Lymphoma, and by the time NSS happens will have been in remission just under one year. In honor of this life changing experience she has launched the Cancervive Campagne- a line of cards for the ups and downs of a cancer ''sentence''. 5% of the procedes from these designs will be donated to BeWell, a non-profit organization that provides restorative yoga, group therapy and meditation retreats for cancer patients and survivors.
"It's hard to find the right words to say to someone who's struggling with illness in their life, at least they can see that on the back of the one of our cards, this was made by a survivor, and it will give them a little bit of hope. I got superpowers when I went through chemo, I was so determined to get through it so I could have a second chance at life. That determination got me to launch Amador Collective and I have great hopes for what it can become. I want having cancer at 29 to be a part of my story, not the tagline."
