Angeles, CA - This Spring, Sophistiplate looks to expand its original line of top quality, Italian-made paper plates with a new design by the name of Arabesque – the first of many new product developments the company plans on rolling out in 2018.
Arabesque is inspired by the traditional Chinoiserie style – a look that has emerged throughout online stylist/designer hubs like Pinterest, in addition to make a resurgence in Home Décor and Interior Design industries throughout 2017.
“The requests for white and blue patterned plates began pouring in from our table-top designers and we started to notice hints of vintage blue emerging in other industries, but just not in paper products” says co-founder and CEO Dan Seehoff, “We saw Arabesque as an opportunity to bring something new to the disposable tabletop market.”
This blue and white pattern is one that not only lives in multiple industry categories, but one that also translates across the country and globe. Southerners lakeside love this Spring pattern for outdoor entertaining and New Yorkers are drawn to it as a new exciting take on elegant dining. Bloggers in Brazil have even taken to it as fresh in season trend for tabletop inspiration.
Having only launched in January of 2017, Sophistiplate hasn’t shied away from adding to its portfolio, as is evident with their November launch of a new line of disposable/reusable Bella Flatware – and the rapidly growing company doesn’t plan on stopping here.
