Villeroy & Boch, Americas introduces its newest bath collection, Finion, debuting at ICFF 2018, the leading north American trade fair for high end contract and residential interiors. The Finion collection features delicate and purist design, high-quality material and workmanship while boasting versatility and individuality. The Finion premium bathroom collection creates a luxurious bathroom setting with its exclusive bathroom ceramics, elegant furniture, and high-quality monolith bath, making it an oasis of relaxation and well-being.
Innovative Ceramics – Washbasins Made from TitanCeram
The renowned designer, Patrick Frey, made use of TitanCeram, a Villeroy & Boch exclusive material, when designing the Finion collection.
“I took full advantage of the benefits of TitanCeram for the flowing, strongly contoured design of the washbasins as this material allowed me to make very thin and fine forms,” said Frey. The collection features ten ceramic washbasin models whereby the wall-mounted and surface-mounted washbasins have walls that are only 6 mm thick. The collection has surface-mounted, wall-mounted and vanity washbasins, ranging from a compact hand washbasin that is 43 cm wide to a spacious 130 cm double washbasin, therefore providing a perfect washbasin solution for all tastes and almost any room layout. An optional integrated ceramic valve that is available with the ViFlow overflow system blends harmoniously into the washbasin, emphasising the collection’s premium character.
The wall-mounted toilet and bidet enhance the bathroom setting with their clear linear design. The rimless toilet is invisibly secured with SupraFix and fitted with DirectFlush technology. The SoftClosing feature closes the slim 40 mm toilet seat softly and silently and can be removed quickly and easily via QuickRelease when it is being cleaned. To improve comfort, the new ViClean-I 100 shower toilet can also be integrated into the Finion bathroom design.
Furniture Perfect for Mixing and Matching
The Finion furniture concept focuses on modern modular shelves, cabinets with handleless doors and push-to-open drawers. Exact edges and borders with faceted details emphasize the striking design of the shelves. They are very robust and durable thanks to their high-quality, scratch-proof surfaces. The furniture range captures the delicacy of the Finion washbasins with edges that are only 8 mm thick. As the vanity washbasin is almost perfectly aligned with the base unit, the ceramics and furniture merge into an attractive visual entity. The collection comes with a choice of base units for vanity washbasins as well as for surface-mounted and wall-mounted washbasins in a wide range of sizes. It also includes complimentary furniture such as tall cabinets, side cabinets and a universal shelf unit that can be combined with all of the furniture. An exciting highlight in the Finion furniture collection is the optional smartphone charging station for the side cabinets and shelves.
Extravagant Quaryl® Monolith – Free-Standing Bath as a Centerpiece
The free-standing Quaryl® bath, which boasts a delicate design with precise, extremely thin edges that are only 15 mm thick, is another highlight of the Finion collection. This monolith is made from the finest Quaryl® and prides itself on its impressive design and material quality. In spite of the compact dimensions of 170 x 75 cm, it still has a generous internal surface, which is comparable to a traditional bath measuring 180 x 80 cm, and provides the best bathing experience. This also makes it ideal for smaller bathrooms.
Finion has been selected to receive an iF DESIGN AWARD 2017, one of the most prestigious design awards in the world. The winning products are the freestanding bathtub, the washbasin and vanity unit and the WC with seat.
