CEF is proud to announce that it has been named a winner of the EDspaces Innovation Awards. Through this annual competition, the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), in collaboration with EDmarket, recognizes excellence in product design for learning environments at the EDspaces Conference.
“Design exists to improve the experience of end-users, and this year’s winners exemplify outstanding educational products that are elevating the learning environment,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP. “We are so pleased to once again see form, function, and innovation on display at EDspaces.”
Products were evaluated by a panel of distinguished jurors that included: Elizabeth Bird, Affiliate IIDA, interior designer, Incite Design Studio; Mary Maloney, IIDA, RID, LEED AP, senior interior designer, PGAL; and Erika Moody, IIDA, principal, Helix Architecture + Design.
The competition was open to exhibitors at the EDspaces 2017 in Kansas City, Missouri. Winners were announced and celebrated during the conference, and the winning products will be featured on the IIDA website, on IIDA social media to more than 300,000 followers, and in Learning By Design magazine, the competition’s media partner.
