CAVU Designwerks to Showcase Two New Products and a New Virtual Reality Venture at Asian Attractions Expo
VICTORIA, BC – April 18, 2017 – CAVU Designwerks Inc. (CAVU), an attractions provider that specializes in delivering media-based attractions to the theme park industry, will introduce two new attractions at the IAAPA Asian Attractions Expo (AAE) in Singapore.
Turbo Racer™ is an action - packed dual-purpose dark ride that takes guests on an exciting experience through a highly themed environment. The Turbo Racer’s motion based vehicle, with its ultimate design can transition from indoor to outdoor track with speeds up to 80km/h.
Eagle Force™ is a high capacity thrill ride that offers guests a one-of-a-kind, iconic park experience. At 30m tall, this colossal structure provides multiple rotating motions creating unique sensations with ever changing forces and views.
Following a successful industry launch at IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, CAVU will introduce DreamCraft Attractions Ltd. (DCAL) and its first product, “DreamCraft VR” to the Asian market. DCAL was formed via a partnership between CAVU and senior members of the Microsoft HoloLens incubation team, to develop revolutionary theme park experiences by integrating engineered ride systems with technologies including but not limited to Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence.
DreamCraft VR combines Virtual Reality technology with a motion base ride system that places guests inside the frame - not just as a passive observer, looking through a window, but as an active participant who has full agency and ability to impact the story. DreamCraft VR is also the first VR attraction that allows guests to interact with friends and family while inside the virtual world and work together to accomplish a task or overcome an obstacle.
CAVU will showcase the Turbo Racer™, Eagle Force™ and DreamCraft VR at the AAE in Singapore from 14-16 June at booth L1145.
