D&P Custom Lights & Wiring Systems Offers ACLinxâ„¢ Modular Wiring Systems - Money-Saving Quick-Connect Power Options

D&P Custom Lights & Wiring Systems, Inc. is a leading provider of modular wiring systems for retailers across North America.  The ACLinx Modular Wiring System features individual pre-wired components that can be configured to meet customers’ specific needs and provide power from floor to ceiling with minimal use of electricians. The simplicity of the ACLinx system allows employees or fixture installers to make quick floor changes, add new power drops to the sales floor, and change electrical layouts as needed for remodeling or seasonal updates.   Using pre-assembled systems such as D&P’s ACLinx versus conventional raceway (conduit) and wire can result in cost savings ranging from 22% to 50% for product costs and labor charges together. With frequent remodeling and store reconfigurations, the life cycle cost savings could potentially be even higher.

The ACLinx Modular Wiring System includes components such as splitter modules, in-bound and out-bound power connectors, in-bound and out-bound power whips, and extender cables; all components are easily integrated with other industry-standard components.

All the connectors in the ACLinx line of products have been specially designed for ease of installation and safety.  Not only are connectors color-coded by application to make installation a "snap" (brown to brown, green to green) but the unique key-locking patterns mean no misconnects or rotations.

ACLinx systems include everything needed to provide power throughout a location, including power poles.  Power poles are available in various lengths and colors, and feature modular, snap-together extrusions with multiple channels for separate routing of both power and data lines.   In addition, all power poles can be customized to exactly meet a retailer’s needs – with just the right configuration of switches, sockets and receptacles.

“We developed ACLinx to provide our customers with maximum flexibility – they can configure multiple layout options for their stores, reducing labor and installation costs for future remodels.  Not only that, the cost savings over time can be tremendous,” says D&P President and CEO Bob-O Smith. “Our team will work together with retailers, builders and contractors to assemble a custom-tailored power distribution network to suit their exact needs.”
