As you may know, our West coast facility located in Carlsbad, California grew by leaps and bounds which landed us into a huge 83,000 sq.ft. building in 2014. Since then, we’ve been able to produce product at a much faster rate than before, carry more product than ever before, and establish an in-house manufacturing division that helped to create a whole new product line—our SEG Resort Extrusions. Having successfully settled into our larger space on the Westside, it only made sense to set our sights on sprucing up our East coast facility as well.
We are pleased to announce that as of October 2, 2017 we reopened our new Pennsylvania location, now located at 6 Pine Hill Dr. Carlisle, PA 17013. Surprisingly, it is also as large as 83,000 sq. ft.! This space is nearly two and a half times larger than our old location in Harrisburg, allowing us the opportunity to invest in new equipment. In fact, we’ve already purchased our newest dye-sub printer for Carlisle—the Durst 325—which, no doubt, has expanded our print capabilities. As we move ahead, adjusting to our new space on the Eastside, we look forward to being able to better meet your needs and deadlines more and more. WS Display National Sales Director Mike Morrison expounds on that point, “While our California location offers a broad spectrum of our product line, the time has come to provide this broader selection of products on the East Coast for WS clients. We are excited for the future for WS,” Morrison said.
To give you a sneak peak into our next project that we have underway, we are looking to provide our East coast customers with faster and cheaper shipments specifically with our entire SEG Resort Extrusions line. Soon, you’ll be able to order standard and custom size extrusions that will be made on the premises at the Carlisle, PA facility! We hope that having an extrusion department on the East coast will alleviate any burdens of shipping costs and shipping time that you may experience getting Resort Extrusions that currently only ship from Carlsbad, CA. Be on the lookout for this exciting change this year!
