Responding to current low-temperature processing needs on flexible plastic and textile substrates, Liquid X has formulated another particle-free silver ink with 16wt% silver loading. The new ink is water-based and can be cured thermally at 140° C or using IR for at least 2 minutes. The ink is highly conductive once cured, ranging from 0.04 to 0.2 Ω/□ depending on the surface profile of the substrate. Liquid X is utilizing this ink for prototype development of conductive fabrics for e-textiles and flexible electrodes for sensors and organic and inorganic optoelectronic devices.
