Creative, ambitous and above all joyful, Yvonne Leon is the perfect representation of her jewellery bestiary and its various editions. This beautiful brunette has just opened her first boutique in Saint-Germain-des-Près. Discrete almost shy, but incredibly adorable, Yvonne never mentions her jewellery reputation. Her Grandpa, father and even her borhters all work alongside her. Despite this seemingly well-established career, Yvonne first started working as a fashion designer after University. It wasn't until 2009 that she decided to create a fun, wearable jewellery bestiary, encouraged by her parents. her iconic lob earing, abeille ("bee" in French), pushed Yvonne into spotlight. She went to create a whole host of other, inclunding dragonflies, crocodiles, crabs and owls, crafted with different shape anad materials. Thanks to her original pieces, women can interpret them as they see fit. her Viviane rings can be seen on the fingers of Rihanna and her earrings on Diane Kruger. Sold in a pairs or as single items, earrings and lobe jewellery are her speciality. Yvonne has even invented new ways to wear them. This unique artistic decision was born of a childhood memory of her father giving her mother a gift. Her mother wanted something new to wear on her ears, but didn't want to pierce them. Inspired by this request, her father designed a piece of jewellery capable of staying in place, fixed to another earring already on the ear, while adorning the lobe beneath. And so the first lobe earring were born! First spotted by Liliane Jossua from Montaigne Market Paris, Yvonne's reputation has gone from strength to strength, and her collections are showing no signs of slowing.
