The new swimwear line BOAMAR launches its first collection this summer season

Founded just last year by a group of friends and fashion veterans, BOAMAR – a new Colombian swimwear line – launches its first collection in the United States this summer.
The first collection focuses on dreamy pieces that are everything but conventional. Folky flower prints, feminine solids, playful stripes and versatile reversible pieces are some of the highlights of this first collection.
Our casually sophisticated pieces capture the journey our muses take each day of their lives. We want her to connect with the woman she is, her ideals, her aspirations and achievements and convey them with Boamar Swimwear pieces.
“We are passionate about encouraging our muse to show the image she wants to portrait through our pieces… we support her body with our exaggerated attention to technical construction.” Says Alex Hoyos – Design Director of the brand.
The word BOAMAR is a state of mind where body and mind connect in a feeling of wholeness and joy.
Our muses are extraordinary human beings, they are enigmatic, naturally sophisticated, open to new cultures, travelers, ambassadors of places they know, with passionate views and opinions. They will find their values represented in our pieces. We have dedicated invaluable time to study the female body to understand exactly how our pieces should fit her, so she feels confident and uplifted every time she wears Boamar.
We are presenting 3 fashion groups with deliveries starting March through April. These groups are complemented with our core collection: B-You. A collection where she will find pieces with adjustable straps that allow her to control her own shapes.
The line has retail prices ranging from $145 to $185 for a bikini set and $155 to $175 for a one piece. Deliveries will start in March 2017.
At BOAMAR we feel urged to participate in the tireless task of caring for our oceans. We support the Malpelo Foundation and its director Sandra Bessudo in their commitment to preserve, protect and educate others about the importance of keeping the oceans healthy.
