SEATRADE GROUP GROWS VESSEL OPTIONS FOR PERISHABLE SHIPPERS WORLDWIDE

ANTWERP, Belgium 02 October 2017 - The Seatrade Group marks a first appearance as an exhibitor at this year's 2017 PMA Fresh Summit Expo promoting the companies four, unique vessel operating divisions. 

The privately-held vessel owner/operator/manager with a history dating back nearly 70 years will promote its Seatrade, Streamlines, SeaCat and GreenSea divisions at this year's expo.  Each entity offers a unique offering of service to perishable importers and exporters.  Seatrade's Meridian Service has been offering the industry’s most direct and fastest high-intake reefer container connection between New Zealand, Peru, the USEC and Europe since March of 2017 and will expand service offerings to new ports before the end of 2017 - while Seatrade's specialized reefer fleet continues to provide seasonal service to shippers from Morocco, Spain, South Africa to the USEC and together with our partners at TransGlobal Shipping - seasonal service from Chile to the USEC and USWC; Streamlines' Blue Stream service has been providing weekly container service between the Caribbean, Central America, the USEC (Port Canaveral, FL and Wilmington, NC) and Europe since January 2016 and the Rayo and Caribanex services provide weekly service from Ecuador/Peru to Europe and Costa Rica/Colombia to Europe, respectively;  SeaCat Line launches in fourth quarter 2017, with a one-of-a-kind combination juice tanker, container ship and heavy lift ship that will provide year-round service between Costa Rica and Tampa; while GreenSea provides specialized reefer vessel capacity to spot and seasonal trades including Florida's processed citrus juice industry. 

Seatrade remains the world's largest operator of fully-refrigerated vessels, while boasting a new building program that has includes the Colour-class of high-intake reefer container, eco-friendly container vessels.  The newbuilding progress continues with a class of specially-designed, handy-sized reefer vessels and the launch of SeaCat Lines, mv Juice Express.  Seatrade's further expansion into container vessel operations has come with a sizeable enhancement and replenishment of the company's reefer container fleet and implementation of new track and trace apps available to clients - along with remote monitoring capacities to insure that the Seatrade Group always provides fast, direct and dedicated service to the world's perishable trades.
