Retailers, growers, distributors and processors gathered in Monterey, CA, July 12-13 for the sold-out Organic Produce Summit. More than 900 people were in attendance, including nearly 200 retailers from over 70 different buying organizations. The day-and-a-half-long OPS kicked off July 12 with tours of four leading organic producers — Vitalis, Driscoll’s, Braga Family Farms and Taylor Farms — followed by the opening reception. OPS continued July 13 with a series of educational sessions, keynote speakers and the exhibition floor.
