Paws Gourmet under new ownership

The owners of Paws Gourmet, Inc., formerly of Marysville, WA, sold all business assets to Paws Gourmet Bakery, LLC, a new Washington company in early 2017. Paws Gourmet, Inc. was founded in 2003 and was known for their wheat free training treats and wide selection of decorated bakery case treats free of corn, wheat, soy, and genetically modified ingredients.

The bakery moved to Silverdale, WA in February under the Paws Gourmet Bakery label and operations resumed in April.  The owners of the new company are Traci Woody-Carmen and Tim Hall. Tim has extensive experience in the pet industry and owns an established pet health food store just a few doors down from the bakery. The new owners have promised to build on the same tradition of creating superior human-grade treats, provide the same outstanding customer service the previous owners were known for, in addition to bringing a fresh new retailer focused perspective.

Paws Gourmet Bakery will provide stores with point of sale tools to help them educate consumers about the benefits of healthy, nutritious treats that are also fun, whimsical, and hand baked in the U.S.A. The company will wholesale products only to the independent channel, with retail sales available on the company website to consumers unable to purchase their treats locally.  The company will make its national debut at Superzoo 2017 (Booth 1210) and will launch innovative new treat recipes, designs, and programs to help independent pet retailers stay unique and be successful.
