Launch of new categories and expanded core collection at NY NOW
New York, NY – August 19-22, 2017 – Apeloig Collection creates Judaica products that pay tribute to a sleek a modern design aesthetic while honoring Jewish rituals. Sisters Daniela and Gabriela Apeloig launched the brand in 2014 with a highly successful line of refined mezuzah cases that reflect the modern, minimalistic style that they love. Apeloig Collection is launching new and expanded categories at the NY NOW show at booth #3155 with the launch of sophisticated laser-cut challah covers, extra-large sized mezuzah cases, and new mezuzah cases in vibrant colors.

Challah Covers: A Contemporary Take on Grandma's cherished judaica
Apeloig Collection translated the intricate, elegant patterns on grandma’s dollies into an equally beautiful yet contemporary laser-cut version. The cover is made of two distinct fabrics, giving the challah cover the illusion of light and air. Delicate tulle is layered below an acetate fabric that has been laser-cut with a precise pattern of modern Stars of David.
The challah cover is available in eight colors: gold, silver, bronze, taupe, cream, black/white, blue, and eggplant. The colors were chosen to match the colors of the existing challah boards. Each challah cover comes packaged in a plastic pouch with a button closure, specifically made for storing the challah cover and preventing the cover from wrinkling, dust and other potentially damaging elements. In addition to being a beautiful storage option, the pouch makes the challah cover a great gift.
By Popular Demand: New Mezuzah Sizes and Colors
At the show, Apeloig Collection will be introducing two new mezuzah case colors in silver and garden green. The sisters were inspired by the latest tropical plant print trend featured in many home designs and created a garden green version of their popular mezuzah collection. The new silver mezuzah case offers an elegant metallic look that imitates a real silver mezuzah case with a modern look.
To meet the demands of clients, Apeloig Collection is introducing a new extra-large mezuzah case (dimensions: W 1’’ H 7.48’’ D 1’’) that fits popular 15cm scrolls.

The Challah Board was launched through a successful Kickstarter campaign- 100% of the funding goal was reached in just 9 hours. By the end of the campaign the funding goal exceeded by 245%.
