Founded in 2016, Full Moon Collection showcases handcrafted lacquerware from Myanmar, honoring traditional as well as contemporary design. One-of-a-kind statement pieces add an element of worldly sophistication to any décor. Thoughtfully selected artisan textiles, lotus silk wraps, and handmade goods complement the collection.

The company’s mission is to support Myanmar’s artisan communities by introducing both decorative and functional handcrafted items to the North American market, fostering global recognition and growing incomes for local craftspeople. With this collection, Myanmar’s rich culture and time-honored artisan techniques are acknowledged and perpetuated for future generations.

About the founder:
Full Moon Collection manifests Ms. Fox’s passion for the country and people of Myanmar. Intrigued by her father’s WWII Burma stories, she first visited the country in 1980 during an extended SE Asia trip. This initial visit introduced her to the country’s distinctive arts and its artisan communities. Returning years later, with Myanmar opening to the world, she recognized an opportunity to present Myanmar’s handmade products to others. A veteran of the travel industry, Ms. Fox has extensive experience in the support of local economies, resident craftspeople, indigenous cultures, and small family businesses. She has been touched by many places and is privileged to celebrate those places, most especially Myanmar, its people and talented artisans.
