Our products are handmade by individuals transitioning out of homelessness and abusive circumstances. We offer a place of employment that encourages, empowers and promotes independence. When you indulge in our products you are directly rebuilding and reshaping the lives of individuals transiting out of crisis.
Owner Tracy Gunn is the mastermind behind UR Bath and Body Co., founded in 2010, Gunn started making soaps and bath products out of her kitchen for her family and friends. What was once an at home hobby has evolved into a thriving business.
The name came to Gunn while visiting a women’s homeless shelter in The Bronx, NY. While there Gunn notice that the director would tell all the women “You are amazing.” “You are perfect.” The you are stuck with Gunn and she decided to name her company UR Bath and Body.
Today, her soaps are stamped with the UR logo paired with endearing, fun words like “UR Sexy,” “UR Pretty” and “UR Fearless.” UR is a loving affirmation of all that can be realized with a loving hand extended.
