Luxury jewelry industry expert Anjanette Sinesio on finding a literal diamond in the rough, launching three businesses, redefining the way people drink water, and saving the planet. It’s all in a day’s work for this entrepreneur, philanthropist, and Girl Boss.
How did you get started with your newest venture, Gem-Water?
Having spent over 20 years in the jewelry industry, it’s sometimes hard to surprise me with gems and what they can do, but every now and then, you come across something fabulously new, and you’re enchanted. This is what happened to me when I stumbled upon VitaJuwel created by Ewald Eisen.
I learned infusing water with gems had actually been in practice for millennia, but Ewald had invented a modern and beautiful way to do it. The beautifully designed gem wands, glass water bottles, innovative gem pods, and droplets aren’t only gorgeous to look at, but they actually do something incredible!
What is the Gem-Water Difference?
Gem-Water takes your regular, everyday water and turns it into extraordinary H2O by enlivening it with the energy of our special gemstone combinations. The result is living water with a crystal structure that is comparable to pure spring water! The additional benefits of higher alkalinity and oxygenation content have also been proven by an independent lab.
When we don’t properly hydrate, our bodies (which are composed of about 60% water) can’t function at their highest potential. Our mission at Gem-Water is to share with the world, one of the most beautiful ways to help your body stay hydrated.

My Personal Experience
“I’ve always had a hard time drinking enough water, and upon tasting the difference of gem-enlivened water, it completely changed my life. That, combined with their beauty, the intriguing naturopathic uses of gemstones, and the benefit of helping reduce the enormous annual carbon footprint created by plastic water bottles, made the whole concept of Gem-Water a triple threat in my eyes. My immediate thought was, I want the WORLD drinking water from this bottle,” says Sinesio.
Where To Buy
While VitaJuwel already had a successful business with spas and wellness centers, Sinesio saw a niche wholesaling to the luxury jewelry market, as well as retailing directly to consumers online.
As a jewelry designer and lover of gems, I simply fell in love with VitaJuwel and chose to share it with all my jewelry and gem lovers. I launched my site, www.gem-water.com in November of 2016, which exclusively retails VitaJuwel products.
Gem-Water also sells the products on a wholesale basis to top luxury retailers including; London Jewelers in NY, Ylang Ylang in St. Louis, IRIT Design Malibu, Cale & Cole in Louisville, Mann’s Jewelers in Rochester, Ron Robinson Santa Monica, and Studio M Fine Wines in Napa, to name a few. Additional retailers will be announced throughout the year.

Imagine never being obligated to buy spring water by the plastic bottle again! The enormous waste, pollution, cost, and carbon footprint due to the billions of plastic water bottles (used once and discarded) can be a thing of the past. Do good for your body and the world!

• 30 million plastic bottles are bought and discarded, but only 20% are recycled.
• 11 billion gallons of plastic bottled water are consumed.
• $13 billion is spent on plastic bottled water.
What’s Next?
The Vial was the very first piece of the collection. This April, we’ve introduced the ERA Decanter, a specially designed glass carafe that showcases the Vial’s beauty and functionality. ERA’s stainless steel spout elegantly (and firmly) suspends a single Vial in place, creating a gorgeous presentation for serving gem-water at home. I see 2017 as a year of expansion in so many ways. Personally, I’ve made it my mission to share this with the world—to positively impact people’s lives by enhancing and elevating the simple act of hydration. For years I’ve designed ways for gems to dazzle and work their magic on the outside of women’s bodies. Now we’re going deeper, girls—time to let those gems work their magic on the inside!
