Visit Townsend Leather Booth #3269 at HD 2017 for Some Zen and Serenity
This year’s Townsend Leather booth was inspired by our venture into finding more zen in our everyday lives. In this fact-paced world and industry, ensuring our employees find balance in life is important to us. One way we’ve done this recently is through incorporating the practice of yoga into our workplace culture.
Townsend supported the month-long training of Monica Carey, who has worked in Customer Service at Townsend for ten years, to become certified in Sivananda Yoga. She has since taught classes to Townsend employees during our work day. This has proven beneficial to our employees, providing them stress relief and placing an emphasis on the importance of caring for their mental and physical well-being.
Our booth (#3269) takes a cue from the principles of yoga such as Serenity and Purity and from our quest for more zen at Townsend and we invite all attendees to be a part of it.
During HD, we will be debuting our new Namaste Collection of leather– created to be soft in touch and color, inspired by the quiet beauty of nature and our connection to it through the practice of yoga. We think this collection of leathers will inspire a sense of calm and balance in interior designs.
We will also be playing a video explaining our company journey into yoga, with a chance for you to participate in a yoga demo. There will be organic tea and healthy snacks on hand to help visitors refuel and there we will be a raffle for a Yoga and Zen-Inspired Gift Basket. The overall vibe will be laidback, calming, and peaceful – we hope to create a little respite for you from the general busy-ness of the show.
In addition, samples of our other recently-launched collections, including The Stacy Garcia Collection for Townsend Leather, will be on hand for viewing or taking home for current projects.
