Lithos Design has further enhanced the value of Opus, the revolutionary collection of industrial design inlays: the company has explored the possibilities afforded by the Tangram and Piano models by introducing 16 new fine colour palettes for marble floors and wall coverings, made using an innovative production technique devised to ensure considerable economies of scale and speedy deliveries.
New and harmonious blends of colours, ranging from the softest to more POP hues, are mixed with a highly geometric language in keeping with the latest trends to confirm a precious, unique and scenic vocation that characterises the entire Opus collection.
Opus, an explosion of colour, an exciting modern-day expression of industrial stone design applied to the art of inlay work. 44 types of marble, 6 patterns, 25 colour ranges, material wastage reduced close to zero: design inlay work comes into the world. The designs, the nuances and the productive approach of this new collection literally break down the classical idea of marble inlay work and its use in the field of decoration for floors and claddings by driving innovation into hitherto unexplored realms. The collection makes its début in a series of ready-for-use ensembles that do not forgo the preciousness of antique inlay work yet at the same time speak a contemporary language, linked to an exceptional mark of design.
The production of the Opus collection required specific studies on conformations, colours and compositions of various stone materials, with the typical production logics of industrial design in mind, in addition to research into the sourcing, quality and workability of marbles originating from across the globe.

Brief description: Hemispherical shapes that appear to move, as if lightly suspended in water. A delicate rocking of shades, matrices and contrasts for a cladding which plays upon harmony. In the two colour palettes available, the inebriating balance of this cladding dominates both in the pastel colours as well as in the stronger, bolder shades.
