iAccess Technologies brings their C-130H Glass Cockpit Demonstrator
to SOFIC 2016 for visitors to experience piloting the various cockpit configurations
that iAccess provides to their customers. SOFIC visitors can pilot a C-130
glass cockpit configuration at Exhibit #743.
The iAccess Cockpit Demonstrator allows visitors to appreciate the Avionics
Modernization Program (AMP) being implemented and offered by iAccess to global
C-130 operators. The cockpit is scalable to meet minimum to full glass cockpit
CNS/ATM (Communications, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management) requirements
while increasing system reliability and solving avionics obsolescence problems.
The Cockpit Demonstrator allows rapid prototyping of a cockpit layout and
functionality for numerous purposes such as, display viewability, crew reach,
demonstration of new concepts, and support of crew training. Additionally, the
Cockpit Demonstrator allows iAccess to respond to customer inquiries and needs
in a timely manner with capabilities meeting requirements.
