Newcon Optik Introduces LRM 3500M: a 3,500 metre MIL-SPEC Pocket-Sized Laser Rangefinder Monocular

Canadian manufacturer Newcon Optik is excited to introduce its brand new product — the LRM 3500M, a MIL-SPEC, pocket-sized laser rangefinder monocular that’s designed to outperform other devices of its class.

The LRM 3500M features a 3,500 metre measuring distance, an eye-safe 1550 nm laser, as well as a built-in compass, inclinometer, and GPS receiver that allows operators to acquire their own and their target’s coordinates. The LRM 3500M’s data output port enables communication with a variety of peripheral devices including smartphones and tablets running AndroidTM–based software, and it utilizes an eye-safe 1550 nm laser. Its advanced features and rugged, waterproof and shockproof design, make the LRM 3500M a versatile and adaptable device that can be relied upon by professional users, as well as law enforcement, navy, and military personnel, in the most challenging of conditions.

“Our goal was to enable our customers to implement a broad range of functions while using a pocket-size device and we have been successful in achieving that,” said Aaron Buckstein, Vice President of Sales & Business Development of Newcon Optik. “Simple in its use and design, but not in its application, the LRM 3500M will instantly give an operator all the essential information they may want to know about their target, as it has a virtually endless set of features.”

The LRM 3500M builds on over 23 years of Newcon Optik’s experience in the research, design and manufacturing laser rangefinders. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Newcon Optik is a world leader in the electro-optics field and its products are relied upon by military, government and commercial customers in more than 70 countries.

The LRM 3500M is on display at Newcon Optik’s booth together with the company’s other industry-leading optical equipment, including night vision, thermal imagers, laser rangefinders and other tactical optics.
