Innovative Debridement Device for Deep and Hard-To-Reach Wounds
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 14 April 2016 – L&R USA INC. (L&R), a leading manufacturer and supplier of innovative wound care products and compression therapy solutions, announced today the launch of Debrisoft® Lolly, an innovative monofilament debridement device for deep and hard-to-reach wounds.
Debrisoft Lolly is a unique, new monofilament debridement device for deep and hard-to-reach wounds. Utilizing the same, patented monofilament fiber technology as L&R’s Debrisoft pad, Debrisoft Lolly rapidly and effectively debrides wounds, while providing a virtually painless experience for patients. Debris, exudate and non-viable tissue are removed, while newly formed granulation tissue and undamaged epithelial tissue are spared.
Debridement is a critical factor in the wound healing process, and should be the initial stage in all wound treatment. Effectively debrided wounds allow the wound to heal faster and other wound management products to be more effective.
