IDEA’s Data Certification Program is designed to measure the item‐level completeness and quality of data available within the Industry Data Warehouse (IDW). The program focuses on 43 critical fields in the IDW that contain the transactional and descriptive product data distributors need to conduct business and sell manufacturers’ products (e.g. brand, packaging, price effective date, etc.). “Your accomplishment helps to set the bar for the level of complete data available in the IDW and positions you as a positive example for others within the industry,” says Amy Brennan, Senior Account Manager for IDEA.
An innovative tool that is rapidly replacing the age old contractor method of building wood templates, BOLT STAR radically improves the productivity of crews in the construction of light pole bases and round column forms. The tool is engineered to hold four anchor bolts and electrical conduits in place while supporting the rebar cage during the pour of a round concrete pole base. BOLT STAR sits directly on the concrete forming tube without supporting 2x4’s, and there is no measuring, cutting and drilling of holes in a plywood template. The structural bases are commonly specified for parking lot and outdoor area lighting, street lighting, security camera poles, street signs and flag poles.
