Transportation Innovation Products, Inc., a new exhibitor at the 2017 NSC Congress & Expo, introduces their Step-a-Side™ Ladder System, a “NEW PRODUCT”, to those attending this year’s Expo. The Step-a-Side™ ladder system is for both flatbed and van trailers. According to the Company, the ladder can be set-up and in use in about 20 seconds, anywhere on the flatbed’s “rub-rail”. With the handles extended, the driver is afforded the correct angle and leverage, with 3 recommended points of contact to safely mount and dismount the trailer. Step-a-Side™ is the first line of defense against worker’s falls and subsequent comp claims. Constructed of HREW steel tubing and powder coated to protect it from the elements, the ladder also has slip resistant rungs, along with rubber feet for use in free standing applications. The working length is 6 feet with the handles extended and weighs in at less than 18 lbs.
The standard Step-Back™ brackets are perfect for both rear and side door van trailers. They can be mounted anywhere you need to use your Step-a-Side™ ladder.
The Conestoga bracket works with all Step-a-Side™ ladders. It is designed to fit most Conestoga trailer rail conversion kits and is completely portable.
