NR Electric released its advanced Management relay PCS-9691 on 21st march 2016 for the protection and control of distribution systems. The PCS-9691 relay provides a cost-effective solution and offers extensive protection, control, monitoring and measuring functions in one enclosed unit. The relay is suitable for the application in solidly grounded, impedance grounded, Peterson coil grounded or ungrounded distribution networks. The hardware is exclusively designed for distribution cabinet installations. The draw-out structure is adopted in the hardware design to achieve convenient maintenance without opening the cabinet door. The relay integrates the full flexibility including configurable binary inputs/outputs, self-definable LEDs, programmable logics. Combined 1/5A current inputs are integrated in the relay.Two Ethernet ports (one optical and one RJ-45) and one RS-485 port are provided for remote communication. It supports IEC 61850 (Ethernet), IEC 60870-5-103 (RS-485), MODBUS (Ethernet and RS-485) and DNP3.0 (Ethernet and RS-485) protocols.
