Presto Industries was established in the year 1961 and has been the pioneer in manufacturing high quality Handmade combs for more than 35 years. We produce the combs from Cellulose Acetate (a non petroleum based plastic), wood and Ebonite (hard rubber). Recently we have been certified as an ISO9000:2008 & SA8000:2008 company.
Pegasus represents the combs made from Ebonite (hard rubber). This is a new innovation for Presto Industries, this was developed over years of extensive R&D. The advantage of Pegasus Hard rubber combs are:
- Seamless teeth – no cuticle damage
- Saw cut – Gentle on hair & scalp
- High Heat & chemical resistant
- Flexible, strong and durable.
Please note we are the only manufacture in Asia to produce combs using Ebonite (hard rubber).
