Chicago Pneumatic has launched a new range of industrial chipping hammers – the CP9362/CP9263 and CP9373 series - designed for the large variety of industrial metalworking applications found in shipyards, foundries, steel erection and construction. This rugged chipping hammer range, with a compact but heavy duty body and ergonomic handle, delivers excellent power levels enabling users to get their jobs done quickly, efficiently and safely. The CP9362/CP9263 and CP9373 series of durable and reliable tools are ideal for the toughest of jobs such as chipping, scaling, weld destruction, rivet busting, demolition, cleaning work on castings, and building renovation works.
First in line is the CP9362/63 compact and robust industrial chipping hammer series with either open or gooseneck handle, which allow users to work with precision and comfort in tight areas. This versatile range consists of 10 models covering 1’ to 4’ inch strokes, from 3.4 lbs (1.5 kg) to 8.4 lbs (3.8 kg) tool weight.
The CP9373 series of rugged and durable hammers has D-handle and 4 bolt constructions, which allows a sure grip on the tool in more demanding applications, enabling the user to get the toughest of jobs done with minimum effort and maximum result. This comprehensive range consists of six models covering 1’ to 4’ inch strokes, from 8.2 lbs (3.7 kg) to 9.15 lbs (4.1 kg) tool weight.
Both series share a number of advantages that make these tools stand out from the competition. A thick steel safety lever provides extra safety when working on the toughest of jobs. An easily replaceable retainer ring, options for round or hex shank chisels, and an ergonomic shape handle make these tools extremely easy to operate. Finally, a spring and stem valve allows easy maintenance.
