SafanDarley will unveil new productivity enhancing technology along with showcasing a wide range of standard products for sheet metal forming such as the competitively priced E-Brake series at FABTECH 2016 in Las Vegas
E-Brake B Edition
SafanDarley will introduce the E-Brake B Edition. The standard E-Brake Edition is equipped with the numeric EC10 software. By comparison, the E-Brake B Edition is standard equipped with EC20 2D graphic control and offers optional features including larger Q-dimension and E-Mate bending aids.
E-Brake Ergonomic
The E-Brake Ergonomic will be showcased at FABTECH. This innovative design enables the operator and the press brake to work as a unit. Instead of standing, the operator is partially seated inside the machine, surrounded by an edging table that allows for the operation of the foot pedal located in a spacious cut-away underneath the lower beam.
Particularly when bending large quantities, it is an advantage to be able to work sitting down. Not only is the design more comfortable, the functionality is also improved. The sophisticated ergonomic facilities of this model enable the operator to maintain a high output for an extended period of time, thus increasing productivity.
SafanDarley Eye - Hololens
SafanDarley will unveil the new SafanDarley Eye system in combination with the Microsoft Hololens. With the use of augmented reality, productivity can be increased with this innovation. The SafanDarley Eye displays additional information which can only be perceived by the operator with the Hololens.
SafanDarley Eye is cutting edge for better process control. Operator performance is enhanced with the help of projections into the operator’s glasses such as tool setup, bending sequence, and various working instructions. Future capability will include activation of virtual buttons.
