The Rollglider is Walltopia Adventure’s brand new zip line roller coaster - a ride that is quickly becoming a trend in the amusement industry. The product combines the excitement of hang gliding and proximity flying into one completely safe ride. It can be built in both indoor and outdoor environments and is appropriate for a very wide variety of locations. Driven by gravity and controlled by body movement, the Rollglider reaches speed of up to 50 km/h (31 mph) and allows tandem riding.
Zip line coasters are becoming the next big thing! They provide a very unique experience thanks to their cart-less nature, and can be installed in places such as amusement parks, leisure centers, water parks, resorts, family entertainment centers, hotels and even zoos.
The trend is spreading around - over 20 zip line coaster projects have been completed so far, four of which are Rollglider's. A 185-meter outdoor line in Krushuna forest in Bulgaria was the first-ever Rollglider completed project, followed by indoor line in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in early 2015. Another outdoor Rollglider with eco-friendly suspension from trees at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan followed few months later and in the end of 2015 the latest project in Helsinki, Finland opened doors to visitors. Currently, four more projects are being installed - in China, Kuwait and two in Russia.
