The new DIAS Portable pyrometers, PYROSPOT Series 80, with integrated color video display are designed for precision non-contact temperature measurements from 200 °C to 2500 °C. The display contains a clear indication of the exact measurement spot area overlaid on the live video image. The series 80 pyrometers include three main products types, all optimized for the highest accuracy, including a two color ratio pyrometer that is ideal for high temperature measurement of metals particularly when emissivity is variable or uncertain. Development of the series 80 products with the integrated display introduces improved ergonomics and a higher level of safety for the operator in industrial environments compared to portable pyrometers with traditional through-lens sighting.
The
PYROSPOT DG 80NV portable measure temperatures from 200 °C to 2000 °C at short wavelengths in the spectral range from 1.5 µm to 1.8 µm. The
PYROSPOT DS 80NV portable works at 0.8 µm to 1.1 µm and provides temperature measurement from 550 °C to 2500 °C. The ratio pyrometer
PYROSPOT DSR 80NV portable measures temperatures between 600 °C and 1800 °C at a wavelength from 0.8 µm to 1.1 µm and has all the advantages of a two color measurement. The devices have fast response times as low as 10 ms (t95). All series 80 pyrometers have focusable optics with a distance ratio up to 200 : 1. Parameters are set using the four buttons below the display. Integrated data storage on the unit holds up to 999 data records. Permanent archival of these records is achieved via the USB interface.
