DIAS Infrared, introduces a portable, flexible and robust short-wave infrared camera for high temperature measurement. This new device features a high dynamic range Si detector array with a wide continuous standard measurement range from 600 to 1500 °C. Optionally a 1400 to 3,000 °C range is available. The PYROVIEW 480N portable records thermal images with 480 x 360 pixel resolution and a frame rate of 25 Hz. It’s 0.8 to 1.1 μm spectral sensitivity range ensures high measurement accuracy even for the highest temperature objects within the measurement range.
Thermal images and temperature readouts are clearly displayed on the integrated display. Settings are easily modified via the camera’s intuitive touchscreen interface. Users may also select display of the center point temperature or maximum temperature in the image. The camera’s internal memory enables recording of still images and sequences. Recorded images and sequences in IRDX format may be transferred to a PC for detailed analysis within the PYROSOFT Compact and PYRSOFT Professional software via a standard RJ45 Ethernet port.
The PYROVIEW 480N potable camera is ideal for routine handheld process temperature monitoring in the steel, ceramics and cement industries as well as in glass manufacturing.
