Graebener Maschinentechnik presents world-leading technology and tailor-made solutions for large pipe production at AISTech 2016
Quality is an important key to success, but not the only one. In view of the ever increasing competitive pressure, pipe manufacturers, especially when it comes to future investments, must more and more focus on their economic success. In order to achieve a return on invest within a short time they have to rely on customized machinery, optimally tailored to their individual requirements and process workflows.
While there are a countless number of companies which offer machinery for pipe production only a few can provide customized machinery for high-quality large pipes. Even less, i.e. only a handful of these companies are able to manufacture almost the entire scope of machines to produce pipes up to the largest wall thicknesses. One of these very scarce companies is Graebener Maschinentechnik. During the exhibition AISTech in Pittsburg, at booth 3257, the German company will show that customized state-of-the-art technology is not only limited to new machines but can also be implemented into already existing machinery.
The special machine builder Gräbener Maschinentechnik is not only able to equip a pipe mill with nearly all machines needed but is especially well known for its tailor-made solutions, for example in the offshore sector. “Based on our decade-long experiences as a manufacturer of large pipes we know the needs of our customers very well. Therefore, we are able to offer the best possible solutions as well as a quick and reliable service, a combination which ensures a return on invest within a short time”, explains Dieter Kapp, General Manager of Graebener Maschinentechnik.
Beside customized pipe forming presses and strong 3- or 4 roll bending machines the German company manufactures several milling machines according to customers’ requirements. The company portfolio includes plate edge milling machines, beveling machines, long and circ seam milling machines as well as pre- and post-bending presses, continuous root tacking machines, impanding and straightening presses. This product range covers all machinery necessary for the production of large SAW pipes.
Last not least, Graebener will also present its technology in the sector of hot stamping and hydroforming.
