Multifunctional tool: GEDORE screwdriver MaVo doubles as a no-contact voltage finder and magnetic field tester

One new addition to GEDORE's VDE programme is the innovative MaVo screwdriver for PH cross-slotted screws that can also be used as a no-contact voltage finder with integrated magnetic field tester. This means that industrial electricians now only require one single tool instead of two to check or repair a faulty magnetic valve or pump.
The MaVo identifies electric fields in the vicinity with a red light, magnetic fields with a green one. Thanks to its capacitive measuring process, the no-contact voltage finder recognises live conductors and localises cable breaks with millimetre precision. The magnetic field tester indicates both permanent and alternating magnetic fields, and checks the function of electro-magnetic switches and valves in operation.
In contrast to the VDE standard, the MaVo has a PH cross-slot instead of a PZ. Why: PH cross-slots also fit PZ screws – but not vice versa. So MaVo not only covers various task areas, but also several kinds of screw. The screwdriver is tested to 1000 volts and fitted with the new ergonomic 3-component "Power Grip" handle for precise, fatigue-free working.
The product has the item number V 2160 MS PH 2 (code 2824434) and is available from authorised trade dealers.
