Cestus Tow Grip Line Provides Hand Protection for All Industries

Tow Grip’s diverse glove offering bridges hand PPE gaps on work sites.

Portland, OR – From setting the drill head to operating machinery to handling rope, chain and wire, glove needs vary from task to task. With five models to choose from, the Tow Grip lineup from Cestus offers a solution for every hand protection need.

Leading the Tow Grip lineup are the Tow Grip SC (Short Cuff) and Tow Grip LC (Long Cuff) gloves, which feature strategically placed SkidX™ grip reinforcement in areas of the palm that come into contact with tools, chain, and wire rope frequently. The SkidX™ reinforcement is double-stitched with Kevlar® thread onto triple-layer cotton, adding durability to high-wear areas of the oil-resistant palm. Differentiating the Tow Grip SC and LC are the cuff styles, as Tow Grip SC has an adjustable wrist strap while Tow Grip LC comes with the looser long-cuff design.

Complementing the Tow Grip SC and LC is Tow Grip Hexx, which comes with a unique silicone hexagonal web grip on top of triple-layer cotton for grip control and oil resistance. SkidX™ grip reinforces the saddle between forefinger and thumb, adding grip control and durability to a high-wear area of the palm. The long cuff design allows users to pull their hand out of the glove if caught in machinery or a pinch.

Cestus® is also unveiling two new Tow Grip models with the Tow Grip 101 and Tow Grip 201. Tow Grip 101 comes with an industrial-strength, one-piece cotton palm that gives users dexterity for tasks like operating machinery and moving equipment, while being double stitched onto the palm for durability. Tow Grip 201 is prepared to handle direct contact with oil, as its coarse Zip Grip palm is oil resistant and gives users grip control on slick surfaces. The one-piece Zip Grip is double-stitched onto triple-layer cotton with Kevlar® thread to increase durability. Both Tow Grip 101 and 201 come with a long cuff that allows users to pull out of the glove in a hurry, which can help prevent hand injury.

All Tow Grip gloves come with flexible Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) impact shields on the back of the gloves, adding impact protection that bends with the fingers and offers continuous protection from finger tips to wrist.
