SemaConnect announces Ambassador Partnership with BOMA International

Bowie, MD/June 14, 2018 — SemaConnect, the leading provider of electric vehicle charging stations to the North American commercial and residential property market, announced today that it is building its partnership with the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). As an Ambassador Partner, SemaConnect supports BOMA’s goals of advocacy and becomes a valuable educational resource for BOMA members.

After six years of exhibiting at annual BOMA conferences, SemaConnect wanted to strengthen its ties to the international organization. The Ambassador Partnership helps fund BOMA advocacy, research, and education for the commercial real estate industry and gives BOMA members more opportunities to learn about electric vehicle charging for their properties.

“BOMA is a great organization and we have long appreciated their professional development programs,” said Jesus Ferro, Director of Marketing. “We look forward to sharing our insights on the EV industry with BOMA members.”

With 45 plug-in cars available in the United States market and counting, the need for electric vehicle charging stations at commercial properties is growing.

“There are many factors to consider when offering EV charging as a service,” continued Mr. Ferro, “from installation to hardware and network services, to OCPP compliance, load management, the list goes on. That’s why we conduct monthly USGBC-endorsed educational webinars that are tailored for building owners and property managers.”

SemaConnect will exhibit for its seventh year at the BOMA International Conference and Expo, booth #932, from June 24-25 in San Antonio, Texas. Conference attendees can see what these smart EV charging stations look like in addition to having questions answered by the industry experts at SemaConnect.
