Benik Corporation Adds Stoma Guard to Ostomy Belt Support System, Introduces at WOCN Society's 50th Annual Conference in Philadelphia
SILVERDALE, Wash., April 2, 2018 – Benik Corporation, a family-owned manufacturer of neoprene medical supports, has introduced a new option to provide extra stoma protection against bumps and impacts.
The hard-shell, domed stoma guard will be included as standard with Benik's Ostomy Belt product. The stoma guard attaches by Velcro™ to the exterior of the Ostomy Belt, making it easily applied and removed as needed. The low-profile guard minimizes any extra bulk.
In addition to the support of the Ostomy Belt, the Stoma Guard may aid in comfort and confidence in daily activities, such as wearing a seatbelt or clothing belt, or light athletics and sports.
