PEACHTREE CITY, GA – February 22, 2018 – SIGVARIS this week introduced three new products to its inelastic compression line–COOLFLEX™ NF, COMPREFLEX® REDUCE and COMPREFLEX ARM.
The COOLFLEX NF is the first product of its kind, intended for venous disease and lymphedema. The inelastic wrap for the lower leg integrates SIGVARIS’ new EZ-Close Pressure System™, featuring straps with built-in visual indicators that allow patients to consistently receive their prescribed compression. The one-handed closure eases donning for morbidly obese and arthritic patients. The COOLFLEX NF also features Spacer Fabric TR™ which provides 60% more breathability versus traditional wrap material, improving patient comfort. The adjustable design accommodates irregular leg shapes that may otherwise require a custom product. In a four-week clinical evaluation, the COOLFLEX NF resulted in 100% patient adherence.
The COMPREFLEX REDUCE uses six simple steps, making it the easiest cut-to-fit inelastic product for decongestive therapy in place of bandages for the foot, lower leg, knee and upper leg as needed. Tests show the self-adjustable tension tabs are 30% faster than bandage wrapping. The COMPREFLEX REDUCE fits patients with a calf circumference up to 90cm and a thigh circumference up to 125cm.
The COMPREFLEX ARM is an inelastic arm wrap featuring a new 90° Flexi-Zone™ technology, providing patients with an increased range of motion and improving their quality of life. The inner sleeve enables one-handed application and the padded skin-contacting material improves comfort over sensitive skin. COMPREFLEX ARM is patent pending.
