SABRE, the no. 1 pepper spray trusted by police and consumers worldwide, is expanding its Frontiersman bear safety line with three new products. Designed by outdoor experts, the new items help customers reduce their bear encounter risk, and even help deter an attack in a worst-case scenario.

The perfect complement to your bear spray, the Frontiersman® Bear Horn unleashes a powerful sound which will warn bears that humans are present, reducing the risk of startling an animal into aggressive behavior. Compact and extremely loud, the horn can be heard up to a half-mile (805 m) away when activated by the push of a button.
A campsite essential, the Frontiersman® InsiderTM Bear Safe is the most comfortable and convenient-to-carry model on the market. This unit fits more than a week’s worth of food alongside your other trail gear inside gear bags of 45L or larger, eliminating the need for straps or external carrying. The bear-resistant food safe even features a pressure relief valve which adjusts air pressure every 1,000 feet (300 m) to prevent warping.
The Frontiersman® Bear Spray with Practice Spray enhances familiarity and confidence for bear spray users. Featuring the exact same deployment style and firing mechanism as the active bear spray counterpart, the practice spray helps build muscle memory and confidence. The live bear sprays offer up to the industry maximum 35 feet (10.6 m) range, as well as the EPA maximum heat (2.0% major capsaicinoids).
