Upon receiving vehicles, employees inventory and then dismantle the vehicles and sell the recycled components. The company operates a hub and spoke distribution network allowing it to efficiently move products among its locations. Fenix generates the majority of its revenue from parts sales. In the second half of 2015 alone, Fenix Parts Inc. sold over 400,000 parts and purchased and then dismantled nearly 25,000 vehicles.
